I ranked Beth O'Leary's Flatshare at number 4 on my Top Ten list. I enjoyed it more than Road Trip and will definitely be reading more of her this year.
First book (Payback's a Witch) got knocked off the Top 10 list. Couldn't be helped. The Thursday Murder Club was just so lovely. Keep having to remind myself to not rush into the second book of the series. I need to pace myself, given that the third book isn't due out until September.
Josie Silver has snagged the 2nd and 3rd spots in my Top 10. One Day in December was just . . . I can't describe the range of emotions I experienced reading it. Like Emily Henry in 2021, Silver is my new favorite author find of the year.
I began reading The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels without reading the blurb, assuming it was a regency era romance . . . It is SO MUCH MORE!!! So fun and refreshing. It reminded me a lot of the first time I read Jasper Fforde.
