What I Read - 2021/2022

Decided to eliminate the What I'm Reading feature on my site and streamline it into a blog instead.

However, in doing so I lose two years of reading logs. Not ideal.

So, this first post will be a look back on what I've read in the past, sharing insights and reminiscing about old favorites.

To begin with, I initially thought 2021 was a far more diverse year of reading. After all, my top two books of the year Project Hail Mary and Circe are far from the typical contemporary romances I tend to prefer. However, a comparison of the charts shows my choice in reading material hasn't evolved much in the past twenty-four months. Only major difference is the number of books read.

2021

2022

2021

2022

Both years heralded the discovery of new favorite authors.

In 2021 it was Emily Henry, Jill Mansell, Tessa Bailey and Christina Lauren.

2022 saw me reading even more Christina Lauren, along with Vi Keeland, Annika Martin and Chloe Liese.

Looking forward to seeing what 2023 brings.

What was my favorite books of 2022 you ask? That's a subject of another blog. For now, these links will take you to the past What I Read lists. See if you can figure out what I liked best.
