I'd call it an unlucky 13 books read for the month . . . however it's a sure sign I've got my reading mojo back!

I'm going to keep this short and sweet since I've already posted my Best of the Year list, spoiler alert, Richard Osman made it!
That being said, Melanie Harlow also deserves special recognition as the most-read author of 2023. She was responsible for my breaking the 'don't read more than one book by an author in a given month' rule way back in June. I've continued to shun that rule even in December, wrapping up both the year and her Cloverleigh Farm series.
Other than that, December was full of some good (and not so good) romantic reads. I'm going to focus on the good here. The True Love Experiment narrowly squeezes past Just My Type and A Winter in New York as my favorite. It was highly unfair of me to pit these three against one another as all have made my 'must-read authors' list.
And . . . I'm going to leave it there. Consider that my sage advice for 2024 - go pick up Falon Ballard, Josie Silver or Christina Lauren. You won't regret it (and if you do, please feel free to let me know).
Cheers,
CJ
